A skin mole is a spot on the skin that can be small or large in size and can range from black, brown, red or pink in colour. We are born with all the moles we will ever have even though they may not be visable at birth. However they will darken with age. Some moles are flat and some moles are raised and some even sprout hairs all of which is normal. Moles although mainly harmless do have the potential to become skin cancer which is why you should look out for changes in it shape and size. |
